Ooops. I tried to (unsuccessfully) correct the [ IMG ] tags in your first post, and think I may have muffed up the url of your third image. Either that or Imageshack is temporarily down.

If it's the former, please can you post the image here again, and I'll put it back into your first post (if you're unable to edit it yourself).

Edit: Seems to be working again now. Imageshack must have been having temporary problems.

Cheers Citrus, the table needed to be somewhat portable so pedestal legs (which would have been my 1st choice) were out of the question, so after speaking to a few experienced builders one of them recommended screw off legs from Ikea, theyre cheap and do the job well, Theyre called Ikea Vika curry legs and for the price theyre fantastic, just screwed them onto the base of the table.

Looks good, nice work!

What did you do about the table legs? Or does it sit on top of a normal table/surface?

Cut out rail i made mine 5"
[IMG][/IMG]
Screwed rail and lip together
[IMG][/IMG]
Sanded down all surfaces and varnished, the placed completed rail on play surface, because the rail lip is cut from the surface they should fit like a glove, insert nuts covered by tape.
[IMG][/IMG]
Now the fun part begins! Foaming and covering the rail! I forgot my phone the day i covered with foam and started to vinyl so this is the only pic ive got
[IMG][/IMG]
There is defo a knack in covering the rail, pulling tightly in equal measures and going slowly are a must! Defo get help it is possible to do by yourself but very difficult also an electric stapler makes it so much easier!
[IMG][/IMG]
Rail all covered and test fitted over unfinished play surface
[IMG][/IMG]
Once again forgot my phone (the camera i used to take pics) for the final installment of foaming the play surface and covering in suited speed cloth, although this part is really fairly easy, base was just sprayed black and legs screwed onto base, final pic of table in play!
[IMG][/IMG]
For some reason the cloth looks almost green in the pic but its actually "Bronze suited speed cloth" Possibly the best cloth you could use for a poker table, any questions or comments ill try my best to help
